Please note, access to some parts of Purbeck is over the army ranges and these are shut at certain times, though not usually in the summer holiday period. Look out for boards at the roadside, or check the County Council website for a full list of opening times.

Lulworth Castle – Set in its own beautiful grounds (5 miles away)
Sculpture by the Lakes – a 26 acre park devoted to displaying works of art in a natural setting. Over 14s only and no dogs. No cafe but you can take your own picnic.
