WAYS TO HELP
Village Halls need people to run them and money for their upkeep.

Hiring out the Hall brings in an income, but it is not currently sufficient to cover all our running costs, so we have to fundraise as well.

The Hall received a radical refurbishment in 2016 and the improved facilities encourage more use, meaning the hall becomes self-financing, but we will always need to raise money for big expenses like replacing the boiler.
BECOME A FRIEND OF THE VILLAGE
We need you to become a Friend. This means you sign up to receive emails from us (we won't send too many, honest!) which will keep you in touch with what is going on at the Hall and also sometimes ask for help. The sorts of things we will be asking are:

-
Help with DIY around the hall, keeping the garden tidy etc
-
Help with events - taking tickets, doing refreshments, putting out the chairs etc. These events usually provide money for the Village Hall.
-
If you've got any special skills which might help the Hall, please do let us know.
You would not be expected to help every time; just when you can.

HUNDRED CLUB LOTTERY
There a village lottery in aid of the Village Hall, called the Hundred Club. You can buy as many £1 tickets as you wish and the monthly draw gives half of the month's takings in prizes.
